However, slips, trips, and falls on the job account for 17% of all disabling occupational injuries, and 15% of job fatalities. Beginning with an overview of the meaning and significance of the center of gravity, this course teaches employees how slips, trips, and falls happen and what they can do each day to protect themselves and their co-workers from their hazards, occurrences, and the potential resulting injuries. The course covers topics such as walking surfaces, housekeeping, footwear, and how to fall properly.
