Accident Investigation

Accidents happen all the time, and they can happen to anyone, including you. Determining the cause of an accident is critical to preventing an accident, or near accident, from occurring again. This course educates workers about the process and goals of accident investigation. Topics include: root cause analysis; accident prevention; how to respond during an accident; and equipment, training, procedure, and communication involvement in accidents. Accident investigations help to create a safe workplace. Through careful examination of accidents and near accidents, workers can contribute to the overall safety at work.
