Culture impacts numerous facets of everyday workplace situations, yet most employees aren’t aware of the effect their culture, and cultural differences, have on their performance and co-worker relationships. This course highlights how these differences help optimize performance and the performance of any intercultural team. Based upon the likeliness that employees now work with people from different cultures, this course begins by explaining why it’s important to invest the time to understand and adapt to cultural nuances. The course then guides employees through the process of learning how to build more effective relationships with co-workers whose cultures are different from their own. Present this course so all employees know how understanding their own cultural background improves the ways they communicate with colleagues, build trust, provide feedback, and make decisions when working on a culturally diverse team.
