Emotional Intelligence: Introduction To EQ
After decades of study and research, professionals began to recognize an individual’s IQ was not enough to determine their professional success. In 1990, psychologists John Mayer and Peter Salovey published an article called Emotional Intelligence, (EQ) which explained how people with a higher EQ were better able to recognize their emotions and regulate them as they worked towards their goals.
