Building A Culture of Respect: Act Ethically

Learn about the moral map we use to help guide us through our lives: ethics. Ethics can mean different things to different people; just as we do not all share the same personal values; we do not all share the same ethical views. However, we can agree on certain fundamental standards needed to work together in a respectful and productive environment. This course, one of eight programs on creating a respectful workplace, explains four basic concepts required to work in an ethical environment: fairness, honesty, integrity, and respect. These concepts are simple to understand but can be difficult to implement. This course shows examples of how acting with fairness, honesty, integrity, and respect creates a better workplace for everyone. Narrative examples tell a story of how to apply ethics to everyday work problems. Take the information presented here and create a more respectful, ethical, and productive work environment.
